The Tool Shed now has a drywall and panel lifter available for borrowing. This is exactly the kind of tool that the shed was created for: something you need once and then never use again.
If you're not familiar with this tool, it's designed to hold sheets of drywall in place for you while you fasten them to the studs. Some basic directions are here.
If you'd like to borrow the drywall hoist, make a request to us on neighborgoods.net.

We're Coming Out of Hibernation!
As of March 1, the Tool Shed will be open for the season. So if you need a
lawnmower, pruning shears, caulk gun, bolt cutters, wheelbarrow, or any
of 120 other hand and power tools, you're in luck! If you're a Mount
Rainier resident, you can borrow them free of charge from the Tool Shed.
On Sunday, March 8, the volunteers who make the Tool Shed happen will be on hand from noon until 3pm. Stop on by and say hello, meet the tools, ask any questions you have about how it works over light refreshments. We'll be in the backyard of the Tool Shed building at 3601 Bunker Hill Road (down the street from Glut - the same building as the bike co-op).
To see a list of the tools, join the "Mount Rainier Community Tool Shed" group at Neighborgoods: http://neighborgoods.net/groups/toolshed
